Greg studied in Cuba at the Cabaña Institute of Arts and Music under Professor Alejandro Carvalal Guerra. He has performed with world famous Guitar player Yomo Toro in Hawaii, recorded with salsa artist E. Torres, and is currently performing with Columbian sensation, Leila.
During his performance career he has opened for many top salsa artists including Victor Roque y La Gran Manzana, Tito Rojas, Millie Josoline, Tony Olivencia and many more. Greg was a member of the first Latino band to perform in local Connecticut nightclubs, "Salsa America," which opened the door for the Latin sounds in Connecticut. He has organized workshops and performances of latin percussion in local schools.
Greg's authentic latin percussive rhythms and and moves add an exciting flair to the Butch Taylor Band.
